My guess would be a restaurant server or someone who has momentary custody of a credit card for a legitimate purpose. The size of the donation is pretty brazen, and suggests someone who might have access to checking a card’s limit during a normal transaction, like a rental car agency, travel agency, hotel, etc.

On a smaller scale, this sort of thing has been going on with credit cards from all over the world.
So long as the donation is for LESS than $200, the donor needs not be identified. In a little switcheroo, a charge is made against a credit card, and the same agency that withdrew the charge, and sent it in under the “donor’s” name, then makes a repayment to the account by a third party, a very wealthy Obama backer, that, because of various restrictions (already at maximum contributions, ineligible because of citizenship requirements, whatever), would not be able to make contributions. Repeat this several thousand times, or hundreds of thousands of times, and you are talking about REAL money. A good many of these credit card accounts may not even be based in the US, and so may never be known in this country.

My credit card # was stolen 2 month ago. It was used to send donations to obama.

Why aren't these people making criminal complaints about the Obama campaign? They should file a police report immediately and charge the campaign with credit card fraud, theft, etc. Please Freepers get the word out. Anyone who is a victim of this should immediately file criminal charges against the Obama campaign. They should also get an attorney and file a civil suit against the Obama campaign.
