Could polls like these keep young people and african americans who already have a tenuous voting record from voting since they think the race has already been decided? This could help Mac since we know the race is much tighter....

— snip from INTERNALS —

“How much have you heard or read about the allegation by the McCain campaign that Barack Obama was associated with Bill Ayers, a former member of the radical domestic group called the Weathermen”

Radical domestic group? Weathermen? No wonder these sheeple don’t get it... the way the MSM spoon-feeds them, you’d imagine Billy Ayers as the long-haired frontman for a psychedelic alt-rock band

Well, you can be sure that Obama will be getting 98% of the black vote, and the dead vote, and the cartoon character vote, (all thanks to the ACORN effort !)

Let me help you. I didn't ask you to explain it again so I could understand it.

BTW, tomorrow's IBD/TPPP poll has it at 3 points. McCain's self-inflicted wound hurting lessans less, huh?

Folks there is no way in he** Obama is up by 14 points. More then likely the race is tied.

Let's use a little logic. If Obama was up by 14, that would mean Obama would take every state Kerry had + IA,NM,CO,WV,VA,NC,GA,MS,FL,LA,AR,MO,IN,OH,MT, and ND.

Is Obama campaigning like a guy who is about to win by the biggest margin since LBJ, Nixon, and Reagan 84', or is he campaigning like a guy who needs to defend a decent amount of Real Estate in a close race?

This race is a dead heat.

Concept of Trend is not familiar to you is it?

IBD had Obama up +2 in the tracking poll they just started a day or two ago.

So if in their poll it becomes +3, its a huge movement.

IBD is at this time most rabid conservative publication, far more loyal than National Review, Wall Street Journal, Commentary, American Thinker, Weekly Standard etc.

So if their polls makes you feel good, then by all means, be my guest.

For Democrat, TIE is a win. For Republican to win, you need at least +3% cushion.

Exactly. That's why Al Gore was elected President in 2000.

Get serious.

It is infuriating.

These polls are designed to do one thing, generate headlines and they are working like a charm. I also find it suspect that when ever polls show the race tightening, magically and within hours this or that network will release a poll showing Obama double digits.

I have stopped living and dieing by the polls and learned to track the polls based on where the candidates campaign.

Algor had closed the gap in last few days after the DUI report came out. It was a near tie or a point behind and it was trending strongly for him.

This is sufficiently idiotic statement to suck all the truth out of the next ten accurate posts you make, assuming that such a thing ever occurs.

You dufus.

You just don't understand the the concept of trend.

Or the concept of conceptualizing trending, trendful, trendatious trend.

Sorry, no weaseling away from your previous whopper.

You said that a Republican has to win the popular vote by 3% to win the election. Please explain why Al Gore wasn't elected in 2000, when he won a majority of the popular vote.

Relax, take a deep breath, and crack open a beer. You'll feel better.

Your posts seem to indicate you are invested in Obama Mania.

True, although I suspect it has something to do with ectoplasmic phlogiston and the luminiferous ether.
