Almost a year after two teenage girls were found dead — allegedly executed by their father — in the back seat of a taxicab in Texas, the FBI is saying for the first time that the case may have been an "honor killing."
Sarah Said, 17, and her sister Amina, 18, were killed on New Year's Day, but for nine months authorities deflected questions about whether their father — the prime suspect and the subject of a nationwide manhunt — may have targeted them because of a perceived slight upon his honor.

OK .. what exactly does that mean ... “honor killing” ... and what legal ramifications would such a term entail in regards to the FBI using it?
Ah I see they are saying it was the first time THIS case was labeled that way
I think with the FBI it is pr thing where they are squeamish about using the term due to it’s association with a certain religion of peace.
Kinda like when they had problems finding a motive with the LAX shooter and the Seattle shootings.

An honor killing or honour killing is generally the murder of a family or clan member, most often females, when they (and maybe the wider community) believe the person to have brought dishonour upon them. A woman can be targeted commonly for: refusing an arranged marriage, seeking a divorce (even from an abusive husband), or committing adultery or fornication (even if she was the victim of sexual assault). These killings result from the perception that defense of family honour justifies killing a woman whose behavior dishonours her family.

I can’t understand what kind of sick sonofabitch could kill his own daughters. Islam must be as much a mental disease as a religion.
I think that I’ll kill my neighbor’s dog who continues pooping on my lawn. That would certainly reestablish my honor. (America, what’s wrong with you? Why even allow these people to come into the country? Do you really have this great desire to self-destruct?)
