I cant give you an authoritative answer, Im not a lawyer. My guess would be that the Secretary of State could file for a court order.You obviously don't remember the firestorm that was created when a Bush-1 State Dept. Employee went rummaging through files looking for details of William Jefferson Clinton's overseas travel to Communist Bloc Nations. If ANYBODY, even the Secretary of State herself, were to question the Messiah on this things would explode.

I'm referring to the Secretary of State at the state level ... the person usually responsible for running elections. The idea would be that the candidate had applied to put his name on the ballot in that state, and the Secretary of State has the responsibility to investigate concerns about eligibility.
Sorry if this was confusing.
