As I said she’s a wacko, but saying something so outrageous alerts people to the fact that she’s a comic.
Behar actually believes her own b.s.—and can’t make a point in a humorous fashion.
I hope that you are right, for too long she has had a blind eye to liberal corruption while persecuting conservative corruption. It is in all our best interest to stamp out corruption wherever it is found.
Maybe she has a "thing" for the best-looking woman on the show and is trying to get on her good side.
I’m not sure she’s defending conservatives. I look at the left, and if I were there, and I had an ounce of self-respect, I couldn’t claim that party as my own.
Say what you want about Whoopi Goldberg - she made herself. She had help from friends like we all get from time to time, but she turned herself into something.
If you are both black AND female, and you’ve been as successful as she has, you have to identify with that at some point, and respect that in other people, like she might for Palin.
I think that’s the irony of Fey, she’s a successful female, and it isn’t easy for ANYONE to be successful at anything. Palin, like W, simply can’t be as stupid as what the left makes them out to be. As such, it starts to become a credibility issue, even with people in your own party.
Whoopie is one great jewish gal.

Whoopie also surprised me when after the last debate she pointed out that John Mccain was the only one who mentioned anything about the people who were losing their homes and had a plan for meking their mortgages affordable to keep them in their homes.
Maybe, just maybe, she is seeing the error of toeing the party line. Groups like NOW, I believe, have lost influence over their unwavering support of B. Clinton in the face of his mistreatment of women.
Continuing to allow the attack of Palin will hurt women's causes across the board. It is bigger than partisan politics; maybe Whoopi gets that.

I've only seen it twice and I'm not sure you need to add the qualifier "on that show".
No, you don't see everyone else doing it. You see a few people doing it. The posting guidelines say "Don't change titles" for a good reason. Some people add their take on what the title should be in parenthesis, but most FReepers just post the title as the title and then post their editorial comments in post #1 (the comment section of the post). You are new here (welcome to FR by the way) so it would be a good idea to pay attention to the posting guidelines as well heed the advice of long-time FReepers when they give a suggestion like the one justadumbblonde gave you.
I also took it as a way of mocking the mental defectives who promised that they would leave the country in 2000 and 2004 if Bush won - then stayed here.

As for Behar, I shot off a message on their website telling them, once again, why I stopped watching their show and never looked back, mentioning Joy’s big mouth specifically. Most of their audience is white, conservative females...NOT liberals. And every time Joy (or any of the leftie females on the show) open their big mouths like that, they tick off half of the country. And speaking for myself, I never got “unticked off”.
