BRUNNER, COMPELLED BY COURT TO REVEAL DUBIOUS REGISTRATIONS
Ace of Baes ^ | 10.15.08

Updated: The tip was accurate, but the Cleveland Plain Dealer got the story out first. See update after background.

Okay, that's what we have at the moment.

Yesterday's majority decision, penned by former Ohio Solicitor Jeffrey Sutton, said, "Nothing about this case, or the relief (Ohio Republicans, who brought the suit) seek will allow them to prevent a single voter from casting a ballot in the November election ...

"At most, the identification of a mismatch allows a county board to investigate whether the mismatch has a legitimate explanation (say, a recent change of address)."

The practical effect, Sutton wrote, may be to require the voter in question to cast a provisional ballot, when elections officials would determine the validity of the registration and thus the vote.

In a statement late last night, Brunner, a Democrat, called it "essential" that voters whose registration information matches either the motor vehicle or Social Security records "are left inviolate to vote a regular ballot on or before Election Day."

If it matches neither, she wants county elections workers to handle "prompt communication to allow them to assist with resolving discrepancies, which, in many cases are not due to any fault of the voters."

"It is imperative that voters not be disenfranchised because of federal government red tape, misstated technical information or glitches in databases beyond the control of voters or the secretary of state."

I’m sure Brunner PROMISED Ohio to the DNC and now it looks like the courts are getting her way of delivering it. Sucks to have to depend on fake voters rather than actual voters.

If a single legitimate voter gets disenfranchised by this, they have no one to blame but Obama, the dems, and their hired guns ACORN, who have muddied the waters with their illegal actions.

200 thousand. AT LEAST.

These are just the transparently obvious fakes

I'm going to guess the whole 666,000 are fake.

You betcha. In 8 years they did nothing to ACORN except slap them on the wrist when they got caught.

[Brunner]...deliberately concealed the existence of these red flags to deny the local boards of election the opportunity to check for themselves.

I'm impressed (negatively), but not surprised that it hasn't dawned on Dem voters that if a Dem wins by vote fraud, that THEIR vote didn't count, either.

Once vote fraud acceptance is in place, fair elections are but quaint history.

And, the most conniving denominator among the Dems (the Marxists) will assert their dominance more openly.

“It is imperative that voters not be disenfranchised because of federal government red tape, misstated technical information or glitches in databases beyond the control of voters or the secretary of state.”

Allowing illegal votes is also a form of disenfranchisement in that is dilutes the value of every legitimate vote. I have wondered whether I could commence civil rights lawsuit against the board of elections under a “one man, one vote” theory, because if people (and dogs, cats, and inanimate objects are allowed to register and vote, then my vote is worth less and I am not receiving full representation.

Perhaps the GOP needs to go back to court and have the court point out the details of the law to Brunner.

Is there any action planned by the GOP on this?

I read an article a few months ago, where the author sarcastically congratulated ACORN on wringing out another 75,000 voter registrations... in a state where there are already 200,000 more registered voters than people who are actually eligible to vote.

Allowing illegal votes is much more than just disenfranchisement, it is a national security issue. I wish that McCain would paint the issue this way, but I’ll be surprised if he does.

How’s about only allowing voting on November 4th and dipping the finger in purple ink? Obama has created a third world election here so we may as well go the whole 10 yards and do it like Iraq.

Just run USPS’ Move Update against the entire file of Ohio voter registrations and you can probably ferret out at least that many NON EXISTENT addesses.
