Cant we at FR do what MOVE ON. ORG did and created their very own political party that abides to them! Huh, cant we. Surely we can do better than the RNC.

I agree if we can get the Republicans in this state to remember she was over the left shoulder of Blanco at every press conference after Katrina. She was a major part of the problem.

It is not the RNC — it is the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) which is only slightly better then the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). NRCC is the worst of the lot by far.

This is actually a smart tactic to move resources since there is no movement.

I politely apologized to them this a.m. by thanking them for participating in the loss of 40% of our 401k’s.

They are stuck on stupid! Mary (I’m Hillary’s Mini-Me) Landrieu is defeatable by constantly pointing to her actions after Katrina. She’s the one who told everyone that the Superdome would have plenty of supplies for those who didn’t evacuate.

The RNC, NRSC and NRCC are all inept when it comes to PR. When it comes to laying out a systematic, aggressive and creative premise-setting agenda......The whole lott of them. With their total budgets they should be a wrecking force on the MSM.....They are not. They are pathetic.

They are lazy! Plain and simple.

Understanding politics today, they need to understand (and have the fire in their stomachs and hearts) 24/7, 365 days a year......An aggressive, creative and systematic PR campaign by the GOP could take on the MSM without a question in my mind.....and if you defeat the MSM, you destroy the DEMs....

But it takes work. It takes getting it on each and every day.

The party's over for everyone if Obama seizes power.

I agree, though I also think it’s a lot easier to do that when you are the party in opposition. When you are the party in control, it becomes problematic.

The RNC is giving all of its money to McCain.

NRCC is the worst of the lot — I think they ended up with $6M to spend. The head of NRCC is also the worst of the lot.

Setting premises (factual ones) has nothing to do with being in power or out of it - Talking up the successes of the WOT, why we went into Iraq, that the economy was growing solidly (from 02-06), touting low unemployment numbers, etc, etc........An aggressive RNC campagin should be promoting and telling such 24/7, 365 days a year....via TV, Radio and other creative ways in which the MSM has to cover them....

I agree with you, but the GOP has never been good at tooting their own horn and the MSM will not carry their water for them. I think you are dead on right with that.

My point was simply that when you’re in the opposition, it’s much easier to get your message out when things aren’t going well which is the case right now.

My reply to you is that no conservative contributed to the National Senate Campaign. I've been blowing off their phone calls because of their conribution to that a$$hole in New England who wasn't reelected anyway. I've only contributed to Cornyn. The RNC really needs to deal with Conservatives vs. whatever they think is important, but we are the GIANT in their decisions. I'm really pi$$ed off with the RNC, which is probably why they are not putting money into these campaigns.

Let me know what you find out. I am voting absentee from Georgia. (We are military and living in GA now, but still vote in LA).

Since I really know nothing about Kennedy, I was reading up a little to make an informed decision. I found one article that said that Kennedy changed parties in mid to late 2007, from Democrat to Republican.

Just wondering what else you know.

Thanks

My friend said he didn’t think Kennedy had a chance, since Landrieu was connected through her father to the blacks in chocolate city. Not much info on stances though, which is what I’d want to know.

Thanks for the info. I will have to continue to research though. You and your friend are probably right about Kennedy having no connections compared to Landrieu.

She will probably win. Thanks for the help. Let me know if you hear anything else.
