I love it there, too. I’ve been trying to get in to those Cottages ever since they opened, too. It’s just impossible still, but I figure after some years when the novelty has worn off it will be easier to get a reservation.
I’ve always wanted to backpack up to that campground up El Moro Canyon and go camping for a few days, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
It’s all day-hiking for me. I go to LA on business periodically, and if I get free time I’ll either go to CC or Point Mugu.
