Well from taking a look at their site, whether or not the recording is true, they certainly look like a completely legitimate online African daily.
Let’s face it no one is going to make up a website with 1000’s of articles just to perpetuate one fraud.
Let me give you an example.

You will see a byline by Leo Odera Omolo in Kisumu. (I picked this totally at random)
A google news search that name pointed me to an article in the Boston globe about Obama’s father which reads in part:
“Although Obama had always enjoyed his beer, he was developing a taste for Johnnie Walker Black that earned him the nickname ‘Mr. Double Double.’ After Obama ordered his customary double Scotch, “He would shout in that big deep voice, ‘Waiter, another double!’ said Leo Odera Omolo, a journalist and drinking buddy of Obama’s, who lives in Kisumu, a port city in Kenya.”
So low and behold. He is really a journalist and in Kisumu a port city of Kenya.
Since they have a lot of correspondants in Kenya, some of whom even KNEW the family she probably felt completely comfortable. Furthermore, to me it looks like they had the connections to be granted such an interview!
And since when do you take anything the Chosen One says as the Gospel Truth?
He only tells the truth when faced with incontrovertible evidence. Even then, he tries to spin his way out of it.
Where is API based? If they’re based out of Africa, why would they care whether Obama or anyone else would sue them?
Hey guys, I went to that Jerome Corsi webcast, got there late, but after it was over i clicked the player again to see if I could hear a recording from the beginning, but instead I am right now hearing Corsi talking on the phone...to his mom! They are based in Norway, but they have offices in the UK (or at least a phone number there) Furthermore, if what they are saying is true they could be a little worried because they have a lot of correspondents in African countries that could become targets.
Not sure what the libel laws are in Norway.
Would she do it as revenge for the affair story cropping up again?
It would be a hoot and more. It would end Obama’s chance for becoming president. It might not do his marriage much good either ;)
I’ve read the update again. It’s compelling I must say.
He (Corsi) is talking to his mom about getting through the election and all the interviews he has to do, he is saying that it has become a big international story and that his mom should be hearing about it where she is in Ohio...he is now talking about where his stuff is being reported, drufge, Fox News and World Net Daily. Not sure either, but I would bet that... uhm... "non-judicial" law in Kenya under Odinga is not very pleasant.

Wouldn’t you consult lawyers to figure out how best to sell it? How much is something like that worth? Thousands? A million or more? I have no idea. I think I would want to talk to a lawyer!
