Noted “conservative” Ben Stein gave $2000.00 to his “good friend” Al Franken.

Religion is thicker than alleged ideology, I guess...

Honestly, it would pain me even more than Obama to see Franken as a US Senator.

My brother went to U. Minn (St. Paul campus) in the early 1990s.
Believe me, it's a modest miracle that Minn. elected Coleman to
the US Senate.

Wonder how much of Franken’s money is from out of state? May not indicate his level of support on election day

Unfortunately, personal friendship and cronyism means more than integrity these days. Same reason that both McCain and Obama look to their buddies in the Senate as appointees for any number of jobs.

Not the same.

Obama would appoint exactly zero real conservative Republicans in his Administration.

Look, if Stein wants to support the odious Far Left Franken, fine. He just stop the pretense at conservatism.

I don’t think Stein really pretends to be a conservative. Everyone assumes he’s a conservative because he was on Nixon’s staff. But since Nixon wasn’t all that conservative, and that was 35 years ago.

UNREAL! Franken is an idiot!

But he's just a big, spooky baby who wants to distinguish himself as a United States Senator.

The Minnesotan Dems are lining up to change this guy's diapers.

He is also a headlining, heavily featured, long-time regular columnist for American Spectator magazine, one of the leading conservative periodicals in the US.

Perhaps, though he is there only to lend “balance”, because the rest of the magazine is 100% solid and dependable conservative commentary and news.
