I watched McCain’s monologue on Youtube last night and it was absolutely brilliant.
First off, it was very, very funny. Every single joke got big laughs.
But, more importantly, he got many key talking points out, in a very positive way.
1) The Clintons are really for him.
2) Obama is the “messiah”
3) MSM (especially MSNBC) is biased against him.
4) Keith Olbermann belongs in a mental institution.
5) ACORN is trying to steal the election.
Yes he got in some good jabs, in a humorous way.
Did you hear the crowd really holler, when he said that he thought he might even find some supporters in the hall tonight? That was great!
It was brilliant. He got all of the main zingers in there. I loved when he said “I can’t help but think a few of you Democrats are pulling for me” and the crowd cheered.
Yes. McCain's material just wasn't simply a bunch of "one liners". He was scoring points in a humorous way...
Yep, I agree. It so was funny I watched it several times. It was hilarious, yet had some meat to it. He really burned Obama on ACORN and “above my paygrade”, but it somehow did not come across as mean spirited. I hope lots of people get to see this.
