There's an old adage: “...sandals to sandals to 3 generations...”.
In this case Chris went from oxfords to sandals in just one. Sometimes the son isn't the chip off the old block. Regression to the mean is a powerful force. The only good thing about the passing of WFB is that he didn't live to see this.
