Disagree.
Like him or not, he has foreign policy credentials that people will take notice of.

Not a surprise from this leftward RINO POS, who became a General through affirmative action, political correctness, and kissing ass, little more.

I agree with Christopher Hitchens who said Powell is the most over-rated person in history. It's funny that no one ever said anything like that when he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Only when his politics did not fall in line did that cry arise.

I didn’t believe it when Bill Kristol said it months ago. I didn’t believe it earlier today. I don’t believe it now.

Powell’s endorsement will suck all the oxygen out of politics for a couple of days AT LEAST.
McCain needs to create a counter-strategy to draw attention away from Colin’s idiocy.
To: Publius804
No way will Colin Powell endorse a Marxist. He’s too worldly to make that mistake.

Powell is not to be trusted! After all, he ‘lied’ to us about the WMD and got us into the Iraq war!

Will it be race over Country?
We shall soon see. There is NO question that Obama is not qualified to be President of this Country, so if Powell endorses him, we will know it is race!

I’ve always liked Powell.

What fascinates me about this is how not one pathetic moderate Republican has chosen to publicly embrace McCain even though McCain is such a Republican backstabber like them.
What advantage has McCain gained by bashing Republicans? I really fail to see how it has given him any additional leverage in the is election.

Colin Powell has contributed $2,300 to McCain’s campaign. As far as I know, he hasn’t contributed a dime to Obama.

You beat me to the punch. I knew about the $2,3000 contribution to McCain, but not his comment that Obama is not qualified to be POTUS.
