Cool. Let them dissemble. It’s obvious that the voters aren’t believing them, or the polls would be double digit.
They hurt their own cause.

Most of the national polls have been caught sampling more Dems than Repubs so they’re utterly worthless.
To: Zakeet
You all obviously don’t understand. If you add up all the differences in the polls between O and McCain, you get about 26 points. Hence, a double digit lead in the polls. You guys really should learn liberal math.

Oh come now. Maybe ABC just wanted to express the 'lead' in something other than base-10 notation. Like Binary.
6 (base10) point lead = 110 (base2) point lead
3 (base10) point lead = 11 (base2) point lead
Hey, I can be a democrat strategist now. :)

“Wonder what will happen when McCain wins? I keep hearing about these HUGE poll numbers and to me it just sounds bogus.”
We saw the same thing last presidential election. The Charlie Gibson types will declare a democrat win early - too early - and then have to eat crow as the results come in.
Don’t take anything for granted.

Some asian (is that the PC term for Chinese?) woman on the See-B.S. news this morning made the same type of comment about Obamus Minimus (hey if Reagan is Ronaldus Magnus!) being ahead by unassailable margins.

McCain’s core supporters are more likely to show up to vote than 0bama’s.
The closer to a traditional turnout model we have on election day, the better McCain does.

This is malarkey. The MSM is in the tank for Obama and spins all of its “reporting” in his favor. Why would polls be any different. McCain might be behind but the race is much closer than they would have people believe.

Thanks for the pic! I’ve been kind of worried about old Looter Guy. Glad to see he is still okay. I regard him as one of my 1.5 million “Katrina Kids” that I have been taking care of for a few years now. The government says it’s okay for me to keep raising them, but I never get a card...they never call...

If McCain wins they will say we stole the election.... again. They will say a McCain win wasn't possible, the bogus polls didn't reflect that.. yada, yada, yawn.
To: Zakeet
They are using
RCP averages is my guess. Lead is anywhere from 2 to 14 percent, depending on the poll.

Yes, keeping Republicans encouraged is important.
I am about to start 'phoning people. Got the info and numbers from the McCain/Palin website. (They even pay for the calls)

Charlie Gibson is a dyed in the wool northeast liberal.
This I've known for years but it was his interview of Sarah Palin that turned me completely off to him ... disdain & contempt for the man have replaced ambivalence.

Hey, I hope they keep saying this...those in the know and those who are pissed are going to make sure they vote. And those who want to bask in Obama’s glory will Laz-out, stay home and say they voted for the O man...only to find out on the morning of November 5th that they should have really voted.
