Michigan voter registration. You would have to be pretty dense to think you were signing a petition.
It’s a pdf file

sure hope this gets investigated real quick.
In order to believe a crime has been committed, you must first believe there is a motivation.
What motivation would anyone have for getting someone registered in a party they are not interested in?
Big difference between party registration and fraudulent/multiple registration. No one is disenfranchised if each person votes once and only once, regardless of their official party.
That's the old game that the dems/media play. I remember a while back (in the Clinton years) when questions about foreign donations were in the news. I don't recall the numbers but the ratio was along the lines of $10 million going to the Democrats and $5,000 to Republicans. Ah but that was enough for the media to shrug and say "see, both sides do it."
The old "both sides do it" trick.
They are getting even better at performing this trick though. Hundreds of negative ads, many hateful and demeaning comments directed at Sarah Palin, some truly disgusting anti-Palin shirts. All of this from the Obama side. A handful of incidents on the McCain side, some of them questionable as to whether they really happened. Ah but it's the Republicans who are full of hate and it's McCain who is running a negative campaign. Obama and his team are squeaky clean.
Democracy is MOb Rule by mobsters..
You’re right on target IMO. My cure for that is to send folks to DU and the other miscreant sights where the left hangs out.
The contrast between our demeanor here and their’s there, should make it plain for all to see.
Ah... your party affiliation does not prevent you from voting any way you chose. Dumbass. Second, this is pure bullshit thrown-up as a screen to ACORN’s stealing elections in OH, PA, and FL.
Good one :-)
What does the L.A. Times think about the millions of fraudulent registrations by ACORN?
*crickets*
And, what; they are so stupid they think because they “registered as Republicans” they have to now vote for the Republican ticket? Well; good deal for John McCain.
Even if it really happened, who would go along with switching parties because they were told they had to in order to support some initiative? Such a person is not smart enough to be trusted with the vote.
Sounds like they are trying to create the equivilent of ACORN on our side by saying this?
This could have merit.
I say this because something similar happened to me in 2006 in Maryland. I had moved from the suburbs to Baltimore and wanted to update my voter registration to vote in the mid-terms. I figured the easiest way to do it was at the MVA (DMV to most states) while renewing my tags.
I filled out the form the lady gave me. She looked up at me after reading it and said “Republican??!” Having learned by living in a city/state where a white male Republican is not universally well liked, I politely just said, ‘yes, ma’am.’ She clearly was upset with me the rest of the time I was there. A week later I got my voter registration card in the mail.
I was now a Democrat.
One of those things that wasn’t worth making noise about at the time, just fixing quickly and mumbling #@!*ing Maryland for the 836th time.
I don't know, in California are they still waiting for primaries? Can't they switch parties at a primary anyway? It seems completely pointless to "force" the change of a person's party affiliation because its so easy to switch it back.
But, how in heck does this equal 200,000 fraudulent registrations that no one even plans to check?
Get REAL!
