The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, has registered 24,664 voters just in San Diego County this year compared to 39,600 for the whole state.

The nonprofit group that presidential candidate Sen. John McCain said “may be destroying the fabric of democracy” registered more voters in San Diego County this year than anywhere else in the California.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, has registered 24,664 voters just in the county this year compared to 39,600 for the whole state.

The group is currently under investigation nationally by the FBI for allegedly helping to foster voter registration fraud.

Local FBI officials have not commented, but San Diego County Registrar of Voters Deborah Seiler told the Union-Tribune that she has forwarded a handful of problem registrations to the secretary of state for investigation of possible fraud.

A California ACORN spokeswoman told the newspaper that there was a problem with some registration workers but no grand conspiracy to commit fraud.

Local ACORN workers submitted 26,513 registration cards to the county from January to September and of those, 7 percent were found to have incomplete information or invalid information, such as missing signatures or birthdays.

Obama needs to win the San Diego area, by fraud.

The proximity of the border probably makes it doubly easy for them.

Hillary beat Obama there by 22K votes in the primary.

Better believe it. It is the only way they can win, and they know it.

It would seem that their goal is not to directly beat McCain but offset the PUMA's. By doing that, they would win in a straight up match. The numbers i've seen and the areas they are cheating in have a correlary to the PUMA projections of 10-20 %. I am thinking out loud, but if the PUMA's really do come through, it better be by to 10's of thousands.

I'm surprised no one has seen, or mentioned this.

Why is ACORN investing any money whatsoever in California? I thought BHO had it locked up.

To counterbalance the Congressional/state races. They have had their machine in place for a really long time apparently. It is only becoming visilbe now and we only have 2+ weeks to fight back.

If I was a registrar of voters I would question any registration form from ACORN.

In light of the blatant refusal of democrat officials to reign in and check acorn registrations/votes - and the courts letting them - the FBI/AG should issue a bulletin -

“Notice: To anyone who has registered/voted, fraudulent and/or more than once, you have 10 days amnesty period to report it.

After the election, votes will be checked and any that are fraudulent WILL be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. “

The only way to make a dent in the fraud is to let the individuals know that THEY will, each one separately, be prosecuted. If they knew this, I suspicion there would be a lot less votes cast. Something must be done. This fraud is worse than third world countries. Where is jimmah - what a sleaze ball joke.

McCain and Sarah ought to ask: "There is countrywide voter fraud being perpetrated. Calling Jimmy Carter"

I live in San Diego and tonight have seen the first two commercial ads on TV for Sen Obama. I was wondering why he would spend $$$ in California for television ads if he is so confident of winning this state. Perhaps he is not so confident.

Oh, and coincidently, there is a problem with 'some' registration workers in 10 other states, but no conspiracy to commit fraud, of course.

Toss every Democrat vote until they can bet determined to be free of any fraud by ACORN.

I'm wondering at what point will we call this what it really is: a coup attempt.

Voting fraud and election stealing is not nearly as newsworthy as Todd Palin's ancient DUI.

Gee, how can we ever forget those vigilant defenders of election integrity and their famous bumper sticker:
