The excitement of Obama's early campaign was amplified by that newness.

Well surprise, surprise. I guess if you hope to sell obsolete newspapers in LA you have to endorse the socialist candidate for president. McCain supporters in LA should all cancel their subscriptions, if they actually subscribe.

I’m waiting to see who my local paper endorses. If they go with Obama, I’m cancelling my subscription which I’ve had for 15 years.

This part is so true.
Yes we have had Communist and Socialist run for President before but never on one of the 2 Main Party tickets.
We have had Communist and Socialistseeking to undermine all that is America for many decades, but never one that could possibly do so in the Whitehouse.
That a rag like the LAT would endorse this man to become President of AMERICA comes as no surprise

i SEEM TO recall that there were hoards of papers for Carter and Kerry and GOre. Are there any so far for McCain.
BTW, I find myself dreaming about Sarah Palin. Not in a salacious way, but in a way one dreams about their friends and people they know. Weird. Anyone else having that happen?
