Shepard Fairey? Is that a joke name?
“I know I have an audience of young art fans...”
Yeah, right. His “art” all look like retro-psychedelic posters from the age of the Filmore in Haight/Ashbury.
His 'art' is mostly communist propaganda. And his attempting to appeal to young naive American kids is way beyond disgusting.
Flock Fairey.
Thanks, Dajjal, for making me first aware of this commie-propagandist/creep, Shepard Fairey.
I wonder if he’s related to Shepard Smith?
Wow, while we’ve known that these signs were identical to communist propaganda all along, to confirm that that was the actual intent of an actual blood-red communist artist and not some naive kid is disturbing. I’m starting to think Obama may have the largest and most eclectic list of alliances with ultra-anti-American leftists ever.
Get ready, folks. The assault on our culture, economy, education system, churches, government, freedoms, country hasn’t really begun yet.
Just another reason I am afraid of this man.
Whether he’s elected or not, half the country has become the “enemy within” and their ranks continue to grow. That scares the crap out of me.
I thought this was going to be a discussion about a Fox News host.

He says he is more optimistic in his outlook now, because of Barack Hussein Obama.

"With this show, Shepard touches upon, but also goes beyond the 'calls to action' against mindless consumerism and war evidenced in previous shows like Nineteeneightyfouria, E Pluribus Venom and Imperfect Union. "The difference between this show and the previous ones is that now the optimism of a potential Obama presidency is in the mix," Shepard said. His recent work reflects his own personal shift towards a new optimism, a direct result of his involvement with, and inspiration by, the powerful political ideals of Barack Obama."
Yeah, I'd call that being more optimistic!
BTW, his book, E Pluribus Venom is finally out.
Shepard Fairey's latest exhibit is in Washington DC right now -- but it's not him alone, it's with two other artists.

My interpretation: The bloom of peace, brought about by communist soldiers and bomb throwers in the background, is edging out the influence of Amerikkkan imperialism, despite the attempts of an Amerikkkan soldier to poison it with his venom.
The guy is seriously demented. Did you check out the video interview I linked to above? He talks about his 13 arrests.
> "Check it out! I got a thank you note from Barack Obama. If he is elected, maybe I have a get out of jail free card"
> VIDEO: Obama icon artist, Shepard Fairey, discusses his numerous arrests in this May 2008 alternative media interview (2:32 min):

Thanks for pointing it out -- I'd actually skimmed past the link before.
Fairey told the Washington Post that Obama has endorsed his vandalism.

Fairey rummages around on his desk and produces a letter from Obama himself. "Dear Shepard," the candidate writes. "I would like to thank you for using your talent in support of my campaign. The political messages involved in your work have encouraged Americans to believe they can help change the status quo. Your images have a profound effect on people, whether seen in a gallery or on a stop sign."
Messages. Images. Effect. Someone understands phenomenology. And the thing about stop signs? "He's kind of endorsing graffiti," Fairey says, "isn't he?"
But even more than the vandalism, Obama is endorsing "the political messages involved in [Fairey's] work."
Obama likes Fairey's political messages ... like the message on that tee shirt he wears in the video interview.
