“She has no sensitivity to minorities,”

Meaning she has no sensitivity to the reverend. Who cares? 95% of blacks are going to vote for Obama. We know blacks are not going to vote for McCain, so why kowtow to them?

Gov. Sarah Palin at the center of the controversy over injecting the race issue into the presidential campaign.
"She has no sensitivity to minorities," said the Rev. Alonzo Patterson, a Baptist minister and president of the Alaska Black Leadership Conference.

Here's what's funny. She's injecting race into the election, but he is the one who is president of a race-based organization...

Barack Obama belongs to the party of the Ku Klux Klan. Just ask Senator Robert Byrd.

He also belongs to the party that welcomed the Populist Party into its fold. The Populist Party was a regional, anti-semitic party in the Southwest that helped shape some of the democratic policies.

Damn dude (or dudette) WTF? Calm down, deep breathes. Big old glass of H2O? ... Thought not.

Sorry, but I do not understand how the allegedly Fundamentalist Black church can be so across the board liberal on every issue. I used to believe they just ignored the social positions of the liberals and voted for goodies. I'm beginning to think that maybe all those people in all those little cottonfield churches in the Mississippi Delta really are "profound leftwing intellectuals" after all.

So why is it that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton criticize white Republicans for "homophobia" but don't give a hang when their pal Farrakhan actually calls for killing homosexuals? Why are radical moslems and radical "gays" coalescing around this one man when they're supposedly anathema to each other?

I don't get it.

Other than the cop killing Bernadine Dohrn and her terrorist C4 using hubby Ayers-how many white people does Obama count as friends ?
How many sat in his church ?
How many were on his staff-before he became the media’s love child ?
This works two ways.

For your information, nudnik, I am not one of those FReepers who crusades against "welfare," affirmative action, "social justice," or any number of other things. My conservatism is social (ie, religious), and I deeply resent the support the "fundamentalist" Black churches have given, not to economic liberalism and affirmative action, but to positions contrary to the Bible all these preachers piously thump.

I have no doubt whatsoever that we are reaping Divine punishment in this country for the way Blacks were treated for centuries. I am equally sure that one day Blacks will be punished for allying themselves with the enemies of G-d (and receiving preferential treatment from them).

If I were allowed only one issue to complain about, it would be the continuous claims of "racism".

Too often - these claims are not made because somebody sees anything racist - these claims are made to force an issue....any stinkin' issue.... to be overshadowed by the ugly claim of racism.

Racism , and other types of bigotry, run rampant in liberal circles - but they have inoculated themselves from the charge. Liberals don't care about "racism" or other types of bigotry unless it is able to serve as some type of smokescreen to drown out some other threatening issue.

It is truely a vile flag to hide behind - because the empty charges of "racism" allow the continued existance of true racism to cling to life.

I have come to believe that there are many examples of stuff like this that just doesn't make sense.... I must conclude that the real quest isn't for justice or for what is right or any of these noble ideals.....this has turned into a quest for raw power. You can come up with example after example of contradictory statements and policies....and none of it matters........It is all about power.

Gay marriage??? so what!

abortion of black babies?? so what!

Failing public inner-city schools?? So what!!

way too many fatherless black families and hopeless young black men??? SO EFF-ING WHAT!!!!

IT DOESN"T MATTER!!!!!!!!!

You sure have a funny way of expressing your "religious conservatism". There was nothing of the Divine at all in that offensive post.
"I deeply resent the support the "fundamentalist" Black churches have given, not to economic liberalism and affirmative action, but to positions contrary to the Bible all these preachers piously thump." If that is what you feel, it is what you should have said in the first place. We have wonderful black FReepers on this site who do more than you can imagine to forward our conservative cause. Garbage like your first post is a slap in their faces & will be juicy fodder for some DUmmie to go spreading around to make us look like a bunch of white supremacists. You embarrassed yourself and all of us in the process.

I’m 1/2 Hispanic and other than getting sort of Latina looks - brown eyes and dark hair from it I could care LESS about where some of my ancestors came from. Far as I’m concerned I’m American.... period.

All these idiots want is special favors.

“It’s really been like you’re going to a Ku Klux Klan rally,” said Javis Odom, an Anchorage minister. “Gov. Palin is really showing her true colors on the national stage.”

When I read this crap I realize how little sensitivity I have to certain minorities.
