Just watched about 45 minutes of C-spam and it's about 10-1 dems over pubbies calling in,usual ratio. They let the dumbest of callers go on and on drooling about how bad we pubbies are and how wonderful socialism will be. It's like listening to a bunch of insane callers, almost humorous if the stakes were not so high.

Good Morning, Alas & FRiends! Just wanted to report a few tidbits from Fox & Friends this weekend. Yesterday as I posted, I was quite shocked at the tone towards Barry. In several segments discussing Barry's socialism, Joe the Plumber being attacked for daring to ask a question, and a Barry/Dem Congress push of the Fairness Doctrine to silence the media, the word of the day used in each was--CHILLING. Also, when Peter Johnson Jr. introduced the show today, he said that Barry drew in record crowds of 100,000 but did it matter because McCain is calling him a Socialist. Sure sounded like Peter was calling him one, too.

Also, Fr. Jonathan Morris was on earlier...as was reported in a thread this week, he told the Friends that in his travels around the country people are telling him in hushed tones that they are not voting for Barry because they are afraid of being called a racist—not because they are racists. He said that in his hometown of Ohio, the McCain people are going door-to-door asking folks who once had lawn signs to put them up. The folks are giving them a wink saying they are with them but please, they are too afraid of public display. So go figure.

Calm down, FRiend. Last time Powell was expected on MTP with a big announcement, the Libs were extremely disappointed. If my memory is correct it had to do with Iraq and Gen Petraus' testimony in front of Congress.

There was a big anticipation and it was a disaster for them. I remember thinking "Thank God he hasn't gone to the dark side".

obama's Use of race as a vehicle may wind up like the DNC crash vehicle with poor babmy crashing into the wall instead of Juan.

McCain - Giving tax refunds to people who don't pay taxes is wealth redistribution and = socialism

Obie - Letting the "wealthy" keep more of what they earn = welfare for the rich

I survived Viet Nam and prospered for the past 38 years in spite of Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and the rest ot the ‘Rats & RINO’s in D.C. But if the McCain campaign doesn't get its act together; the whole country is gonna wind up in the socialist trash-heap after Hussein gets into the WH.

Instead of Colin Powell & Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin should have been on one of these shows...in fact Palin & McCain SHOULD have been on LAST SUNDAY!
