I have family all over Florida. Orlando, Plant City, Sebring, North Miami, Tampa and Zephyrhills. The lone pubbie other than me in my family is my little sister, she lives in Zephyrhills and delivers the Tampa Tribune. Glad to hear they indorsed McCain!

I have a McCain Palin hat in back window of our car.

We live in Florida and took a trip up to Asheville, NC this week and I was surprised at the Obama crowd. They looked at my car and treated me like dirt at the grocery store.

I took the hat out of the car. I actually felt intimidated! I can't afford any damage to my car. I felt like a wimp. I now know what it must be like to live in a Country where Freedom doesn't reign and there is no justice for all.

Just like Joe the Plumber, I can't dream about what the future could bring to me and my family. Wonder what Dr. King would think about following his dreams in this environment?

Who ever wins, it is not going to be a uniting situation, IMHO. If we think Wall Street is pounding our Country wait til November 5th.

Circle the wagons FReepers!

I NEVER put political stickers on my car, because of nut case liberals. They really are the Neo-Nazis of our era.

Nobody is going to make me cower in fear.

Question: Isn't that the purpose of terrorism? To scare the bejesus out of people where they are afraid to speak out. Wasn't this one of supposed purposes of the 9/11 attacks? To intimidate and scare ordinary people from leading normal lives?

I REFUSE to lay down and play that game!

Sounds like a “Hate Crime”

We've got a local City Council race going on, and even tho it's a "nonpartisan" office, one of the candidates is a Jewish Republican (makes mention of party affiliation on his signs).

A half dozen of the signs have had mustaches and glasses markered onto his picture, but one had a swastika drawn.....so the local Barney Fifes are investigating as a "hate crime".

Sadly, you are entirely correct. I make no display of my politics because I have enough sources and causes of stress in my own personal life without having my property vandalized or destroyed in the face of a government which will neither enforce laws or allow the citizen to defend his property. At every level, our governments are dismal, disgraceful failures. I go armed at all times and will defend my life and those of my loved ones, but am not planning to go to jail over material possessions.

I got his license number and looked him up on the Internet.

And you have a magical secret password that eliminates all the laws preventing that? Got any more stories?

In Texas there is a license plate data base on the Internet. I did nothing wrong I just scared the pants off of him.

I see lots of McCain stickers on cars in Las Vegas and even saw a fair number in San Diego when I was there last month. In the San Francisco area, no way - everybody knows you are asking for damage. I did see a guy yesterday wearing a t-shirt that said “McCain 1908”, so his name isn’t totally absent from SF. ;)

That is one of the posters who wrote in the comments:

I love happy stories. May I suggest an Obama sticker next time.

That is ridiculous. Although I have watched on the news and read in the newspapers where Obama signs and vehicles have been destroyed as well. Why does stuff like this happen? It is not that serious people.

I do not have a McCain sticker on my car or a McCain lawn sign on my property. The brownshirts are too violent. They will become moreso if they gain more power.

I notice that most cars and most homes have no bumper stickers or lawn signs. I suspect that many of these people are McCain supporters and brownshirt opponents, like me, and that their opinions will be expressed in the voting booths November 4.

Obama's defeat would be a foregone conclusion if it were not for massive voter fraud, which is a joker in the deck. We don't know how massive or how effective it will be.

THUGS. Just following his orders...”get in their face.”

It's the Alinsky thing to do. Just a little community organizing.

urinated on the vehicle

They left their DNA. It would cost a lot in testing but the doctor may someday get to treat his victim.

I have no idea...either it was taken at the last debate (not sure if before or after) or it’s photoshopped. Regardless it’s funny. And what’s with McCain and all his facial expressions and blinking? Did Obama’s witch doctor put a hex on John?

I was surpised by the number of people who would not put a McCain sign in their yard. I finally gave away my last one to a couple who dropped by my garage sale yesterday. And I live in McCain’s home state!
