We are on the verge of seeing that end in favor of a personality cult. Should that personality gain power, laws will become nothing more than vehicles to protect the leader from dissent.

It wouldn't be long before FR screen names were linked to IP addresses, and ISPs would be legally protected for divulging names and addresses associated with IP addresses.
And then the ISPs would be forced, via the IRS, lawsuits and/or whatever to cough up the names of those who'll be charged with sedition. Maybe "ISP of the month" with financial prizes, or just plain bounties-for-the-IPAddy-ofXXX to be paid to the ISPs would be more Obama's style.
