I had a discussion with an Obama supporter last Friday. He was not deterred by the word “socialist”. He actually thought it was a good thing.

Here's an actual response I got from a post of mine at You Tube reminding people that a vote for Obama is a vote for socialism.

And that brings down the question...
What is wrong with socialism?
It is still capitalism and it is still liberal, combining the best of both worlds.

I wonder what school this person attended. Sometimes it just seems hopeless (trying to use logic to win an argument).

Ask them if they’re ok with collecting only 60% of their next paycheck while the remaining 40% goes to someone who they don’t know and someone who didn’t work to earn it.

  Don't give up yet. Socialism is an ideology built on lies. The lies are repeated and new lies are constructed from the old lies. Aim the logic at the foundation and continue to fire until the entire structure collapses. Then fire again.
