Jeez, I thought Laura had given up radio - she was replaced here in SA by Mike Gallagher (without notice to the listeners, he just showed up one Monday morning a few weeks ago), and I have to admit it’s a change for the better.

“And stop saying that Obama is a decent person and would make a fine president”.

...he’s trying to show that he’s the decent man that he is. Unfortunately, conservatives don’t want anymore “aisle crossing” or “bi-partisan” BS. We have a refrigerator magnet that says “Live in such a way that if anyone should speak badly of you no one would believe it”. Must be his creedo as well.

...especially given how its becoming a media talking point that Palin is inexperienced.

Yeah, their "talking point" is about Palin's lack of experience, but nary a word about Obama's lack of experience. Evidently it's okay with the media jerks to have the top of the ticket in the 'Rat side without experience, but a mortal sin for the 'Pubs to have the No. 2 spot inexperienced. Lying hypocrites, the lot of them.

“Not to mention, why is Obama going this week to Madison, Wisconsin of all places ?”

Based on the company he keeps, probably visiting the Armstrongs who killed the guy at Army Math.

Also in in the Rest of Virginia—and I had the same thought. One place Obama should have tighter than a tick is Madison, WI.

Yesterday at mass, our priest said something like, “I cannot and will not tell you how to vote, but you must do so as you think God would want you to vote, and p.s. - especially think about that marriage ammendment”.

My paraphrasing is terrible, but we ALL knew what he meant.

McCain was in Virginia over the weekend. He and Gov. Palin were here last Monday.

Yes, MrB. I have been reading the Bible and looking for strengh in The Word. Praying lots too. Humbling myself before God and asking for mercy and forgiveness for this nation.

He gave me; Philippians 4, 4-7.

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

My spirit has been fed.
Thank you Jesus.

What else is he going say? “We’re probably going to lose ... but with dignity”?

Of course, he is going to predict a win.

So is Obama.

And Palin.

And Biden.

And all their respective handlers.

And many of those on FR.
