another thread up today showed the CO race in a dead heat ... makes no sense, probably wishful thinking on CNN/King’s part.

I DO wish the McCain/Palin team would take up Gov Palin’s suggestion that she and Todd would love to go to MI .. have one hugh rally there. What’s to lose v. possible gain ?

I’m not positive, but I think Colorado showed Kerry ahead until the very last few days.

Damn straight. I just tuned in over there and Blitzie has the vapors because 0bama and Hillary! will be joining the situation room right after these messages. I think he's changing his underwear during the commercial break because he was so excited I think he made a mess there.

Last week the RNC called me, during our conversation, I mentioned that Sarah said she and her husband would be glad to come back to Michigan.

I asked them why they didn't get in touch with Betsy DeVos (former chair for the RNC in this area) and see if her husband would let McCain/Palin hold a rally or town hall at DeVos Auditorium, or at one of his large venues, like the Amway Grand Hotel.

Mr. Devos ran for Governor against Granholm last time around and he and McCain both toured my husband's metal stamping shop. They have some die hard O supporters there and I thought if Palin and Co. came to town I'd get hubby to check with the shop to see of they could do a walk through and maybe try to line up some others.

I asked if they charge to speak and the person on the phone said she didn't think so. I'm hoping that somebody will get back to Michigan. GM is going to close another of their facilities, costing another 1,600 jobs. Why isn't Granholm asking these companies what MI can do to help them keep their facilities running?
