This could all be a set up; stall it out as long as possible and then produce the document. If Rush, Hannity, or Levin would grab hold of this, they could end up looking like fools. I wouldn’t put it past the “One” and I’m sure others have thought about this as well. The best course is to let it go through the legal system.
I just don’t think that’s the case. I don’t think Obama planned on getting sued over this matter, especially by a DNC strongman like Berg. There are enough people out there right now that probably know about this case that could change their minds and vote for McCain because of this uncertainty.
There’s enough evidence out there that Obama’s birth certificate he provided to Factcheck is a horrible forgery.
It doesn’t make sense for Obama to NOT deal with this by giving his certificate UNLESS his natural citizenship is doubtful (I can’t believe the Clinton’s didn’t unearth this if true) but MORE likely, the birth certificate is different than his name now, i.e. he is either Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama OR just Barry Denham.
I think the latter is more like it. If he TOOK the name of Hussein, it would be a lot different to people than if he was given it at birth (hence the weird way he mentioned this at the Al Smith dinner...about “whoever gave him his name” what was THAT about!
