Sounds good, but I may go Yes on 2 and No on 6, but I’m not sure yet. I still don’t get why you’d vote against 11, we lost Pombo because of their idiotic redistricting.

we lost Pombo because of their idiotic redistricting.

They haven't redrawn the lines since 2000. Redistricting didn't lose him the race, IMO. He lost because he was targeted, nationwide, by the Democrats and got only nominal support from the moderate bunch of Pubbies that are supporting this redistricting effort.

BESIDES--THIS redistricting does NOT affect Congressional seats. It is for State offices only. Can you name a Assy or Sen district that was lost due to redistricting? Remember, all the leftist districts are still protected by the Voting Rights Act and maintaining "communities of interest."

We don't grow veal cattle in CA so that's a fake issue. Prop 2 will mostly be about egg-laying hens.

A YES on 2 will make our CA locally produced eggs less competitive against out of state and, more worrisome, Mexican eggs which aren't captive to these regulations. We use more eggs than any other state but almost half are already imported due to high demand.

Prop 2 exempts county fairs and 4H but *not* FFA (Future Farmers of America) school programs.

This is a feel good measure that Europe is adopting on an even longer timeline. We have free range eggs for those who want them although they cost about 50% more. Finally, the caged hens live longer, healthier lives than their free range cousins.

To accommodate the new regulations one San Diego County egg farm will need an additional 200 acres for all the oversized cages. That's not inexpensive.
