This just in on the radio, Obama’s half sister called Obe and told him he better come to Hawaii right away cause grandmother might die.

Obama is not leaving until Thursday and he plans on being back on the campaign trail on Saturday. If his grandmother is on her death bed, Obama is not acting like it.

Thursday is not "right away" from yesterday. Today might be considered "right away". And of course this is not your normal Grandma-Grandson relationship, Grandma finished raising him, when he returned from Indonesia, while his mother remained there with his step/adoptive father.

I was no where near that close to my maternal grandmother. Nonetheless, my wife and I went to visit her in the hospital on our wedding day, since she could not make it to the wedding.
