The Grannie thing is fabricated. The campaign just wants people to see that he has a white grannie. I bet they are finding resistance among older Democrat voters because of his name, race, etc...Plus they will try to guilt the McCain campaign into cancelling their events. Obviously the negative attacks by the McCain campaign are working and anytime Biden opens his mouth he manages to hurt Obama.
Now’s the time to unleash the hounds. While the Obama campaign is playing ‘did you know he had a white family?’, the McCain campaign needs to drop ‘did you know he was a cokehead?’, ‘did you know he went to this crazy church?’, etc...
But keep on hitting him on taxes and “socialism”.
This sick grandma bit is a bid to get Joe the Plumber out of the news cycle. McCain should not play along. Certainly issue a statement that he hopes Barack’s grannie recovers, but that the American people deserve to have this discussion before they decide what’s best for their families and their grandmas.
The media of course has portrayed Palin as inexperienced and nervous - in fact, it has been the exact oppposite.
Palin is completely on message, poised, and seems more confident every day.
Joe Biden on the other hand, is plodding along, long-winded as always, bouncing from gaffe to gaffe.
Slow Joe just killed Obama’s chances if the GOP is skillful in exploiting it. Of course, that is far from certain.
I LOVE that the stories about Sarah starting to charm the press are juxtaposed against Biden being tossed in Obama’s penalty box.

What's really odd is that for two days this week, the only player on the field for Team Donkey will be, get this, Michelle my Belle. Talk about being short-handed!
Biden said “Generated”....hmmmmm.....was OBOMBA planning on “generating” the crisis, handle it with aplomb, so it would look like he was TOTALLY capable of ANYTHING!!
I’m sure Colon Powell is always available and waiting in the wing’s for his replacement.

I was SO HAPPY when Obama picked him - first of all, it meant that everyone else had turned Obama down because his own party expected him to lose, and secondly because I knew there'd be an ever-flowing fountain of eff-ups out of Biden.
Biden announced to the world that electing Obama is a severe security risk to this nation. In fact, he guaranteed it!
If anyone has a link to the FULL TRANSCRIPT of Biden’s comments, please ping me! I have been looking for a transcript of Biden’s comments, but can’t find it. I think what NO ONE is talking about is his last statement! It is quite telling! Last statement was: “I probably should not have said all those things because it just dawned on me that the press is here.”
What does that mean?? That his statememts were true but he didn’t want it out to the public? Or his statements were not true and he knew he would be in big trouble with Obama and the campaign?
