What an absolutely dumb a@@ move by the protesters. Having been through convoy training it looks as though those cops were well trained and well versed. Keep the convoy moving.

Several protesters tried to block the motorcade of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in Grand Junction, Colorado on Monday afternoon, but police dragged them out of the way in a dramatic encounter. What a bunch of morons! Where do these dregs get the time and money for such foolishness? Kudos to the police for their fast and decisive action in getting that vermin off the street; I hope that the law officers did not get any bruises or torn clothes doing their duty.

"The comments on the CNN website are a howl. BO has got the moron/marginally literate demographic vote wrapped up tight, thats for sure."Palin is the one driving them nuts. So too with the liberal elite. If she and Mac pulls this thing off (and I think they will, handily), we are in for some real insanity on the left...

Thanks for the video link. Warmed my heart to see the dirty. scumbag Barack Obama Weather Underground wannabees tackled by the PD defensive line.

Smith said officers saved the protesters from injury because "the motorcade likely would not have stopped" for them. I can think of nothing more enjoyable than power washing chunks of liberal protesters out of the grill of an up-armored government vehicle. Who do I contact to volunteer my services?

What’s disturbing is that they were allowed to form the line in the first place, thus requiring the blocking police to leave station, and to leave the motorcade open to a secondary and potentially more serious attack.

The protesters were members of a group called "Red Pill," Smith said. A Web site that carried an announcement of the group's planned protest urged supporters to show Palin "that we as a community say no to war, no to corporate cronyism, and no to four more years of Bush-style leadership." It encouraged people to bring "drums, noise makers, and your strength." i.e., communists.
