I believe McPalin will win handily.

I pray you're right, ROTB. What concerns me is the number of people I know who aren't voting because they don't like McCain or Palin or both.

They aren't all conservatives. One is a liberal Republican who just has a visceral dislike of McCain. She's sitting out the election. Another is a nonpolitical co-worker who leans right, but dislikes most politicians and hasn't seen anyone he likes this year. A third is a deeply religious conservative Christian who won't vote for McCain or Palin because neither one has publically declared that he/she is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ.

I've talked to them all about the catastrophic results we can expect from an Obama presidency, but I've had no success in changing their minds. All three of these people normally vote Republican, but this year they're not voting. I hope there aren't many more like them.

Without the study I do on Obama and McCain, it is nearly impossible to find the differences between them. McCain needs to stake out his turf and defend it LOUDLY. He missed a golden opportunity when he supported the bailout. He could have named names, pointed fingers, and drug down the Democrats already tarnished image. Instead he allowed the left to blame Republican deregulation, when the cause of Fannie and Freddie problems was Democrat policy.

VOTE FRAUD has put in a LOT of DEMOCRATS.

Because the compassionate conservatives and media-spooked rino's turned a collective blind eye. I stand by my post #39.

Personally, I was going to vote 3rd party out of disgust for McCain, until a Freeper twisted my arm into voting McCain.

I’m not reluctantly voting for McCain anymore. I am voting FOR SARAH.

The “Deeply religious conservative Christian” is intriguing. Sarah has caught all kinds of flak for her Pentecostal tongue-talking church.

Unfortunately, if Obama wins, conservatives still need to figure out how to get the conservative movement back on track. And the GOP will need such a candidate in 2012. No one knows what the situation will be four years from now. It’s not at all certain that Obama would be elected again, if it comes to that.
