The federal income tax code has been a ruse for a long time. It takes money from people before they receive their paychecks. Obama and McCain's tax plans are merely more tinkering with a system that can't be fixed. The only alternative is to replace it with a national sales tax. The Fair Tax Act(HR25/S1025) that has been before Congress will accomplish that goal and abolish the IRS thereby restoring at least some freedom and power to the people. Fair Tax ping!

The dirty little secret is that the obvious tax increases on the wealthiest 5% aren't the only ones coming from Obama. In 2010 the Bush tax cuts expire. All the RATS have to do is sit back and wait for the rates to go up. That top 5% will then be hit with a double or triple whammy. How do you think the job market will fare then?

Want to get really scared? Take your 2007 income and run it thru a 2000 tax program like TurboTax.

Exactly, it doesn’t add up especially when corporate taxes start drying up, as does capital gains. Looks like the sheeple took this hook line, and sinker. I wonder if he made a math error, and meant 25,000.

It’s not a tax plan.

It’s a cash incentive for a vote and he’s going to have “the rich” pay for it.

He says he is going to let the Bush tax cuts expire. That right there is a tax hike.

And he has a plan for sending US taxpayer money to help world poverty. That right there is money that could be used to lower US taxes.

But much of what he calls “tax cuts” are actually cash payments to low- and middle-income Americans. Ultimately, he sends out of Washington hundreds of billions of dollars more than it takes in.”

Why can't McCain make this point? And why hasn't he talked about the other Obama promises such as the Global Poverty Act, massive new entitlements, etc that will cost over one hundred of trillion dollars? Obama will be a disaster and no one understands it.
