If this happens, you will be able to see the Schadenfreude on the part of Free Republic from outer space.
I think this was posted yesterday. You might want to check that.
He was before my time...........
Is there a second?
Well, perhaps he will totally discredit the DemocRats among the electorate if he does get in.
But I would still rather see that big fat blimp OPRAH Winfrey fall on her face if he loses.
The following is an astute warning from an anonymous writer:
I heard Mike Savage say this a few months ago.
I’ll second and third! Yowza!
A call to Arms, if I ever read one.
BO is no less an enemy to our way of life than Hitler or these other evil bastards. Even if they don’t test him, he’ll do all he can to bring the country down on his own.
America hasn’t STARTED on “being sorry” about the coming regime. Jimmy Carter will seem to be almost divinely inspired and judicious in comparison.
There is a huge disconnect, cognitive dissonance, a total denial of reality. Not that people cannot inform themselves of the consequences of accepting a form of US totalitarianism, they will not. So we will have several decades of something that in its impact, probably exceeds the worst days of acceptance of involuntary human servitude that marked colonial America, and governed US policy until the Emancipation Proclamation, and the subsequent adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment.
The new limitations of human freedom that will (not “may”) be adopted will test the limits of the interpretation of the Constitution, to the point where it may discarded altogether. This the opportunity to form a new nation carved out of the provinces that most vehemently resist the “New Order”, but be prepared to face the “blue helmets”.
Because they will be an army of conscripts, with no great ideals to follow, they may not be all that difficult to stand off. But the siege will continue for years, until one side or the other collapses from weariness.
I read that quote the other day and someone attributed it to Socrates I believe. Here is what I found in it’s full context and it is attributed to Alexander Tyler fwiw...
“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the worlds greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From Bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.
- Alexander Tyler, The Fall of The Athenian Republic (1787)
If Nobama Hussein (”Mohammed”?) Barack is elected it will be the gateway for the Sharia’s with its devastating consequences to be marching into the United States of America, pure and simple
The Democrats have never been honorable.
I can think of one guy....Zell Miller...
That is about it
God Bless America!
