As a presidential candidate, John McCain advocates immigration reform in two stages: first securing America's borders and then pursuing a variety of changes to the law. These include establishing an employment verification system and prosecuting "bad actor" employers, creating "market-based" work visa programs, and providing undocumented immigrants a path to legal residence.
Barack Obama proposes simultaneously tightening security on the Mexican border while encouraging undocumented aliens to "come out of the shadows" and eventually have the opportunity to gain citizenship. Employers would have to verify the immigration status of their hires or face penalties, but Obama would also reform at least some of the work visa programs.
THE MCCAIN AGENDA, IN DETAIL
John McCain has laid out a specific, two-stage approach to immigration reform.
First he would spend lavishly to secure the borders, erecting "physical and virtual barriers" and deploying to the frontier unmanned aircraft and U.S. Attorneys alike. (The word "secure" occurs frequently in McCain's agenda, usually in proximity to "border.") Only then would he tackle "Comprehensive Immigration Initiatives." These include:

A couple plants had underage children working, and one even had a working methamphetamine lab. In every case, the companies claimed they didn't know the people they hired were illegal, so the government came up with the E-verify program.
Sen. Robert Menendez, D-NJ, is trying to pass a bill to stop these raids, claiming they might "violate the rights of Americans of Hispanic descent" who are caught up in these raids but can't produce a birth certificate or other documents to prove who they are.
Most Americans are required to prove to the state they are legal Americans just to renew driver's licenses---by coming up with several pieces of ID to prove who they are; some have to pay to get new birth certificates and make long trips to get the required photographs.
But we don't see Sen Menendez trying to pass a bill claiming OUR rights are being violated.
Most troubling is that Menendez' scheme will also facilitate voter fraud.
A Senator sworn to uphold US laws using the levers of our government to obstruct US justice is offensive.
My husband and I run a firearm manufacturing business. I wonder how the libs would react to us hiring illegals...

We are importing poverty in the name of 'the American Dream' and the socialism "required" to rectify it will bury us. We are fools.
Dept/Home/Sec needs to register all political organizations so that Americans could enter the names of politicians wanting to run for public office. Plus eVerify incumbents and their staff.
Incumbents need to be checked out. Particularly in light of Obamas questionable immigration status.
Calpernia was advised that the current eVerify Dept claims that politicians dont work for us, they work for the government. Calpernia asserted rightfully that US citizens vetted them and voted for them.
DHS needs to confirm the immigration status of (1) political organizations, (2) incumbents, (3) candidates, and, (4) their staff.
“Mark Levin read off statistics on yesterday’s show which confirm what we all know is true - the social welfare state is being propped up by immigration - legal and illegal.
We are importing poverty in the name of ‘the American Dream’ and the socialism “required” to rectify it will bury us. We are fools.”
I heard that segment. Just about the ‘uninsured’ in America at 47 million....9 million (19%) are illegal aliens.
The bottom line is, WHEN YOU IMPORT POVERTY, YOU GET MORE POVERTY!
Here is the article he was reading from:
Importing Poverty

[snip]the media and politicians — missed a big part of the story. It is this: The stubborn persistence of poverty, at least as measured by the government, is increasingly a problem associated with immigration. As more poor Hispanics enter the country, poverty goes up. This is not complicated, but it is widely ignored.

A couple months ago Bush issued an executive order for all government agencies to verify their employees and stop hiring illegals. Why doesn’t that apply?
Perhaps it’s only for manual laborers:
[snip]President Bush has ordered federal contractors to participate in the Department of Homeland Securitys electronic system for verifying the immigration status of their workers, greatly expanding the reach of the administrations crackdown on employers who hire illegal immigrants.
An executive order, signed by the president on Friday and announced on Monday, requires federal contractors to use the system, known as E-Verify, to check immigration status when they hire new workers or start work under government contracts.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said the measure would affect at least several hundred thousand workers a year nationwide. The status checks apply to all workers.

Don’t forget to add (5) their donors.
Jill Derby, State of Nevada Democratic Party Secretary, who will not respond to Clinton’s accusations of fraud with the Nevada caucuses in Las Vegas is currently running for (R) Dean Heller’s seat in the House of Rep.
She is advocating FREE HEALTH CARE FOR ILLEGALS.
Gotcha-—good addition.
