I think the polls are coming around to reality finally not that we were ever that far behind anyway.
Exactly. We have about one more week of the 'propaganda phase' of these polls -- then they need to slide into reality because their report cards (and credibility ratings) are based on how close their last polls match the election outcome. Until now (and probably until mid/end next week) its been primarily a dance to shape opinion - not measure it.
This is what Rush said would happen the day after the RNC Convevtion. He said expect a bump for McCain to last a week or so and then all the polls will show Obamain the lead until about 2 weeks from elction day when they’ll slowly come back to reality because all pollsters want to be right at the end. They may participate in party propoganda for a couple of months but at the end they want everyone to remember that they got it right.
