Does vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin consider herself intellectual? You betcha!

"And you have to be up on not only current events, but you have to understand the foundation of the issues that you're working on," Palin said in an interview with People magazine. "You can't just go on what is presented you."

the Alaska governor told People that she has always been a "voracious reader" and named reading _ anything from biographies to historical works _ as her favorite thing along with her children and sports.

Palin said if she and husband Todd had had a sixth child, they had already picked a name for a boy joining siblings Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig.

"I always wanted a son named Zamboni," she said.

And she is smart as well. Unlike some other women on the national stage.

According to Biden, “intellectual” is a four letter word.

I am so hopelessly in love. Beauty and brains together. :)

Ohhhh, maaan! She makes herself look stupid saying such a thing. Sometimes it’s just better to show you’ve got brains that open your mouth and prove to everyone that you’re not even close.

Well so did Reagan.

After he died, a mountain of writings, in his own hand, were released.

Not saying that’s the case with Palin, but don’t ASSume too much.

Sorry, Gov. Palin, you’re not one of the intellectuals——you’re infintely smarter than them.

You are so wrong. She has the strength and confidence to be who she is.

I must REALLY love her. I think the name is a riot. I also think she is way way smarter and stronger than johnboy, bambi and obiden.

LOL! Nah, she just shows she's got a great sense of humor, something sadly lacking in politicians today!

The elites and their wannabes have always been wary of people like Sarah Palin. Think Andrew Jackson ,Abraham Lincoln,Ronald Reagan. The elites belittle their intellect because they do not give adoration to their “betters”. I mentioned on another thread that my aunt, a HS grad from an Italian neighborhood in Queens went to work for Manufacturers Hanover after raising 3 kids. Within a month she was assured that she was smarter than the guys who gave her orders. They knew more, but she was smarter. A very good friend of mine was one of her bosses. He told me if she went to college she’d have his job when she came out. As I watch Sarah Palin these last weeks I think of my aunt and how she came to know that she could play in anyone’s league.
