I heard one person on Fox last night say that one poll (didn’t hear which one) that had O & M neck and neck was composed of 40% evangelical voters and that only 30% of the voters who put Pres. Bush in office had been evangelicals. I wondered how that happened? The pundit also said that O is still in a pretty good position. Very confusing.

They need inform Christians about Black Liberation Theology beliefs and McCain will win by a mile.
It is the biggest con job for Obama to claim he is a Christian. McCain said he wont discuss Wright. This not Wright, it is James Cone, the inventor of Obama's religion.

In 2004, only 23% of voters called themselves "Evangelical/Born-Again Christian". I have a hard time believing that demographic has nearly DOUBLED in just 4 years. I think APs internals are off.

only 30% of the voters who put Pres. Bush in office had been evangelicals. My take. Evangelicals will come out strong if there are real pertinent issues. In 2000, Evangelicals came out strong for Bush as a repudiation of Clinton's immoral and ethical conduct. In 2004, not so much because there wasn't a pressing moral issue. In 2006, not so much either because they were turned off by Foley.

Sarah Palin has energized the Evangelical Base beyond belief.
