For the four previous months, McCain has led by nine. His new 54% showing is also his highest ever since polling on the race in Texas began in the spring. Forty-four percent (44%) is also Obama's best showing to date.

In Texas..McCain is supported by 91% of Texas Republicans and four percent (4%) of Democrats.
Bwaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha Ron Paul.. you doofus.
Thank you America! Semper fi.
The wife is from South Texas...GOD BLESS TEXAS!
Your welcome. I already voted so I know McCain/Palin has at least one vote!
McCain/Palin will be closer to 60%.
any breakdown on where hispanic stand in that state and other other states like FL,NM,AZ,CA
suppose NM is a lost cause because of Richardson supporting his new hair on the face look and his support for obama
The Lone Star State will earn another star!
I am ging to vote today after work and add another vote to the McCain column.
because most Texas voters get it
is he and Barr still running ???
is anyone voting for them if they are running?
Don’t want to get into the throw awaying the vote etc I was just wondering if anyone would still vote for them even though some of these battlegrounds are close
I’m mildly surprised it’s that close.
Call your friends, especially in Oh, Nv, Va and Co. ;-)

I voted early on Tuesday down here in South Texas (Victoria) and noticed two things. One, it was the biggest turnout I have ever seen in years of early voting, about a ten minute wait to vote. Two, people were voting FAST. To me, this means nearly all straight party ticket votes.
I agree with that. I know too many old-fashioned Dems who cannot bring themselves to vote for an outright Marxist.
Maybe I’ll move to Texas, at least over half the people have a brain.
I believe Colorado will go Red also and hopefully Nevada
