McCain has cut into Obama's lead for a second day and is now just 1.1 points behind. The spread was 3.7 Wednesday and 6.0 Tuesday. The Republican is making headway with middle- and working- class voters, and has surged 10 points in two days among those earning between $30,000 and $75,000. He has also gone from an 11-point deficit to a 9-point lead among Catholics.

Those undecideds — they break HEAVY for McCain. Mark my words.
I think that what we will see is what Bush experienced vs. Gore that last weekend before the election. At the last moment people will decide they do not want to risk a newcomer and go for the tried and true.
They did the same in the Dem primary also.
EAT THAT, ZOGBY!!!!!
Yeee-hah! Thanks, Joe. Both of you, Biden and Plumber, God love ya.
Keep focusing on your election night party and transition team Obama. PLEASE!
SOMEONE BLAST THIS TO RUSH LIMBAUGH WHILE HE IS STILL ON THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!!
McCain within 1-point!
LOL, that’s a great photoshop job. :-)
BTW, McCain must have beat Obama in their most recent polling.
Also... I think there is an unintended effect due to the liberal media bias... it makes conservatives scared and more likely to vote.
I will say that the wildly divergent poll results this week tells me that the pollsters don’t have a clue on getting accurate samples now, and that is good for McCain.
If the undecideds break for McCain, we will be gold.
If, however, they break for Obama, we will lose.
Close! The thing is, undecideds will probably go to the outsider here...what they see as such anyway. That could be bad news for McCain.
On the other hand, if McCain points out Obama’s inexperience enough etc., I think he will pull it out.
Right now I still think we will win, and polls like this help. What a glorious day Nov. 5 will be when Obama supporters are in shock.
Maybe those sermons about abortion really did make a difference. I hope so.
Monday poll always favor his O ness. Expect Zogbot to have O with a 30% lead...
Look at the internals — 74-22 for Mac? WTF???
Please add to breaking news sidebar, if you think it’s appropriate. I already have it in Front page news.
Only 0.0765% of blacks are undecided. That may help McClame with the undecided vote.
