If the story is true and it gets real traction, the Obama camp response will be to do an attack on one of theirs and blame it on McCain supporters.

Seriously, there is no way this doesn’t hurt Obama, not just in Penn, but nationally. There is absolutely no way to keep a lid on this. Between the internet and talk radio, this WILL NOT be kept quiet.

snip: Obama, on his plane to visit his sickly grandmother (the typical white one) said “It is truly terrible that this missguided youth did this to this woman. That is not what my campaign is about. However, I think it does show the frustration of our poorer citizens that need to resort to robbery in order to provide milk and bread for their children. And, from what I understand, it was only a scratch and did not require medical treatment. I am troubled that the McCain campaign would increase the rhetoric by using such words as ‘carved’ and ‘mutilated’ when clearly this is not the case. The hate that the McCain campaign has been promoting during this campaign is disgusting.”

I’m sure that his campaign will have lots of volunteers to get their faces carved.
