I don't see how they can because it is so incredible. McCain needs to hold a press conference explaining what happened, in detail, and call for restraint from Obama's supporters. He needs to meet this head on and not let the media spin this horrible, targeted attack.

Come on, McCain has to campaign in the Real World, and he’d be skewered in the press if he did that. It’s one thing for Joe Conservative (cousin of Joe the Plummer and Joe 6 pack) to spread the word, it’s another for McCain to do it.
