...but I have some reservations: There are some things about the image that don't seem to jive.
1) Her black eye isn't swollen at all.
2) The "B" doesn't appear to have penetrated the skin, but only reddened it. How could it be that way when it was supposedly carved with a knife during an attack?
3) Would you hold still while someone carved your face? Still enough so he could carve an even, legible letter?

It looks to me he was going to carve the other cheek too. Maybe he ran out of time to do an “O”. Seriesly. The wound on the other side imo is the start of an O.
