The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator's paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.
The issue of Obama's birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii.
But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.
"This has been a real sham he's pulled off for the last 20 months," Berg told Savage. "I'll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States."
He said the telephone call was from Obama's paternal grandmother affirming she "was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961."

Obama campaign officials acknowledged the dispute by posting the image purporting to be a copy of his certification of live birth earlier this year. But they've declined to return WND requests for comment...
WND reported earlier this week Berg's claim that Obama has legally "admitted" the accusations included in his lawsuit, including that he was born in Mombosa, Kenya, by not responding to the allegations.
Berg has cited Rule 36 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which states that unless the accused party provides written answer or objection to charges within 30 days, the accused legally admits the matter.

If this were a real problem Clinton would have wiped him long ago. They base the forgery deduction from the one on Obama’s site and not on the one he produced for FactCheck. I don’t know what the law was in 61, but a child born overseas to a US citizen today can derive citizenship from parentage.

One parent does not suffice for US citizenship. Else every Thirdworldistani mother would claim that a US serviceman (or tourist) was the daddy.
If my(American citizen)daughter's child is born in Forres, Scotland while she is there on an extended vacation does that mean my grandchild will not be a naturalized American citizen even though my daughter was born in Florida to a family that came here in 1830?
They may not care a “rat’s arse”, but even if Obama manages a narrow win now, the courts will care. If Biden, then, becomes POTUS, he will be holding on for dear life for his four year term. At two years, the dems will lose control of the House and a conservative President will waltz into the White House two years later with substantial loses to dems in the Senate. Someone else might know better, but I think it depends on whether the father is an American citizen whether your grandchild will be considered a natural born citizen. I believe Mitt Romney was born in Mexico, but both his parents were US citizens, therefore, he is considered a natural born US citizen.
All Obama has to do is present genuine evidence, and this issue will go away. It’s very simple.

Whether your grandkid would be eligible to be President and CIC some day is not clearly defined at this point. Not all citizens are, only 'natural born citizens' qualify.

to be president you must be a NATURAL BORN citizen. Unless they were born in military territories, they can’t be president. That’s the constitution and the law.

You miss the point: If proven that he does not meet the Constitutional criteria BEFORE the Election, all votes cast for him means Biden becomes President if the ticket wins. Same applies if they win and it is proven AFTER the election. NOW, HERE’S THE RUB....
If this is proven BEFORE the election, and his supporters know that he will not sit in the Oval Office but Biden will, they will be so demoralized and depressed they will not show up to vote just to put another old, white guy in office. Can you say “President McCain”?

She allegedly had her child at 18. The laws at the time *\(paraphrased) stated that to confer citizenship, one had to have been a legal resident of the USA for 10 years (I think), 5 of which had to be after the age of 14. IOW, his mother would have had to be 19 to pass on citizenship.
It is intriguing and irresistible to to think there could be some crazy twist in the plot where the good guys win. I feel euphoric desperation with each new turn of the birth certificate story. Your observation is keeping me within the reach of reason. My obsession with the birth certificate story might be related to my lack of confidence that we might achieve a conventional victory this election.
Obama mother was a minor when she gave birth to Obama and the father was a foreign national. If Obama was born overseas, his mother failed the test according to the law in place at the time, and therefore, Obama did not meet the U.S. Constitutional requirement to be a ‘natural born’ citizen.
If Obama wins this election, I can only pray that I’m right. This is a rubicon moment for America. God save us! God bless America!
