I, for one, am tired of this minute-by-minute pulse-taking by the pollsters. There are so many different groups, acting on a very inexact science, and pulling the public and campaigns every which way. I wish we could just boycott or play with all polls to skew the results and decrease their effectiveness and reliance on their results by the media. It’s getting to where instead of reporting the opinions, pollsters are creating the opinions.
I imagine a lot of people now refuse to even cooperate with pollsters. I started awhile back giving some opinions to callers or on-line but quickly burned out. At this point, I suspect only the people who are lonely or need to feel important are cooperating.
I agree. We ARE getting played as if we will just give up and not go to the polls. It’s just an attempt to discourage us from not voting. There’s only one thing. This train doesn’t haul HOPE. See you on election day.
