When I go to vote I’ll feel like Custer riding in to the Little Big Horn ... but I’m voting.

Custer lost because he was arrogant, wanted all the glory for himself and thought he had it in the bag. He underestimated the enemies strength and arms. Sound like a candidate we know?

The Indians won because they were fighting for their way of life and their land. They came together to defeat a common enemy trying to subjugate them, reeducate them and enslave them. Sounds like a bunch of conservatives to me.

geez, when I vote there will be 3,ooo registered democrats against 4o registered republicans. That was my analogy to Custer.

they were fighting for their way of life and their land. They came together to defeat a common enemy trying to subjugate them, reeducate them and enslave them.

Some Americans have made similar statements about Japan after WWII. The Smithsonian created an uproar 1n 1994 by stating in a display that "For most Americans," the script says, "it was a war of vengeance. For most Japanese, it was a war to defend their unique culture against Western imperialism."

Patton and MacArthur were also hated by some Americans but thank God for them.
