Are Hillary Clinton's days in the Senate over? Some Democrats are pushing for her to take a top cabinet post in an Obama administration. Former Bill Clinton pollster Stan Greenberg even has a couple of ideas. "I think she'd be great in the cabinet," he says. Greenberg's choices: "secretary of defense, secretary of state."
It's no joke. Many Democrats want her to play a prominent role in an Obama administration and skip out on the Senate, where she won't have a major leadership role. And neither cabinet post is too high for Clinton. We hear that many generals and admirals in the Pentagon admire Clinton, especially for her pro-military actions after 9/11. And she's traveled the world, first as Bill Clinton's ambassador and then as a concerned senator.
As for the rumors of a U.S. Supreme Court position, that might be harder for Senate Republicans to take.
DEFENSE? Oh I can lively imagine Hillary sitting with the JCS at the table.

She wants POTUS 2012...
She doesn’t want to be associated with a One-Term POTUS if Obama wins...and if he does it will be worse than the Carter Administration
Particularly those Senators who turned their back on her...
I shudder to think of where McCain might put her.

Hillary in a cabinet position ? Great, that’s where we want her to be! No better place for her from where to undermine Hussein’s presidency.

Hillary does have a lot of defense experience with defending against bimbo eruptions.
Personally I think Hillary was bought off for a SC nomination.

Another reason to vote no on Barack Hussein. In truth this story about Hillary is being floated now just before the election in a desperate attempt to woo Hillary supporters back. If Barack were to win he will drop Hillary like a hot potato. Just like Bill has always wanted to do.
Would she ban the wearing of uniforms at The Pentagon like she did at The White House?
Doesn’t it seem like they start floating these rumors everytime Obama starts to lag in the polls? First, we had the endless vp rumor (which I was starting to believe as well)and now this crap. I think he puts her name out there in the hopes of bringing the PUMAS home.
Obama would not want her anywhere near his Cabinet (not that he is going to have one!)
A story to make PUMAS have second thoughts.
