This is so sad. I saw an interview with her after her Oscar nomination and she gave all the credit for her talent to God. Seemed to have a deeply rooted faith in Christ and have her head on straight.

Prayers up for Jennifer and her family, and that they get the little boy back safe.
So very, very sad.
She is a good person.
Who cares about her politics at a time like this?
Her Mom and her brother murdered, and her little nephew kidnapped.

She may be. I don't know but, she sang at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
Right now it does not matter if she is a conservative or a liberal. Nor does it matter for whom she has been campaigning.
Life can change on a dime. She just got a double, no, a triple dose. One minute life is fine and the next second her entire universe has collapsed. I cannot even imagine.

You may be thinking of Mandeesa. She is also a very beautiful black singer from American Idol. Mandeesa is a Christian singer and very conservative.

Fox is reporting it as “domestic abuse” so that means they have an idea of who it is....(along with the nephew missing and the license plate being broadcast)

You may be thinking of Melinda Doolittle or Jordin Sparks. Both are pro-life Christians and Melinda (if I'm not mistaken) has been to the White House more than any other Idol contestant.
