What do you expect from lawyers? Honesty? Character?
To a lawyer the truth is anything you can get away with..
Throw the book at these people. But more likely their resume will be enhanced with the Rats.

Small story to emphasize how lightly everyone takes our ability to vote in the USA. People give their lives for what we abuse here.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1873827/posts

Excerpt:

Duncan Hunter: Hey thanks Mike. First with the respect to imposing democracy from the barrel of a gun, the only guns we held on the days when they had Free Election in Iraq was the Americans along with the Iraqi Police who were protecting the voting places and that included the suicide bomber that rushed in to try to blow up a bunch of voters and one of the Iraqi Policeman bear hugged him and pulled him out of the voting area and was killed with him when that guy tried to kill voters. So those people that voted in the Iraqi Elections voted in a Free and Fair Election. All the international observers agree with that.

We do have good and honest lawyers in this country. I'm thankful for both of them.

They did not illegally vote because they were lawyers. They illegally voted because they were O’Bama supporters.

Would all republican lawyers vote illegally as well? Under your logic, they would be as likely to vote illegally for McCain.

No, they were only voting that was because they are for Obama and that is an acceptable tactic to those people.

In the unlikely event tht they are ever punished, they should be punished more severely because they were lawyers, and cannot claim ignorance or lack of understanding of what they were doing. This means that they should be sanctioned and their licenses revoked.

Their names should be spread far and wide.

If they are not disbarred, they will still have plenty of client’s, I’ll wager, from all those adoring Obama fans who do not find fault with illegal voting as long as it is for a good cause.

After all, to them, the end justifies the means.

But please, lay off the lawyers because a lot of them are on your side and are very honest and trustworthy.

“To a lawyer the truth is anything you can get away with”

This fact is not only a major problem for lawyers and anyone who must deal in legal matters, but I believe the dishonesty of lawyers and the way they twist language to escape accountability is a phenomenon that has infiltrated and permeated all of society. You can hear this kind of language from teachers, doctors, nurses, policemen, and even average people on the street.

Some individuals have not been tainted by this Orwellian poison, for example the current Republican vice presidential candidate.
