I think the NRA helps the 2nd Amendment cause by not becoming an arm of the Republican Party. They are a true single issue organization and that means sometimes supporting Democrats that support the 2nd Amendment.

I'm sorry, but I belong to the “fool me once, shame on me” camp. Democrats do not, ever, support the second amendment. They only say they do. They slid into power in 2006 by running “conservative” candidates against weak RINO’s, and immediately turned their agenda over to the most radical left wingers in their party. They know that the gun control “issue” cost them heavily in 1994. Witness the John Kerry in camo photo op in 2004. Never for a moment believe what a DemoRAT candidate says. Everything they say is spin, and everything they do is incremental socialism. They only guiding principle that they have is maintaining power.

Sodrel does to. More so. And the democrats are a criminal organization, nothing that helps them in anyway is good for the 2A or any other conservative cause EVER. The only reason the rats have backed off gun control was because they started losing elections over it. Back in power they will pass anti-2A legislation. No Pelosi-Bots.

Very well said , as it’s not the Republican Rifle Association . We need pro-gun representatives in both parties , although I would always prefer Republican control of the congress .
