this is the second time I’ve heard him state this “change happens from the bottom up” thing... and it is just about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I really don’t get that.. so in all the greatest civilizations from the Roman to Greek to Britain, etc... the poorest folks are ones that really were the movers and shakers? The bottom folks were the scientists, the doctors and law makers?
He has this mantra , and he is sticking to it, even though it is completely childish.. What he really means is that Marxism is the only construct that works, proven time and time again to be utterly un-workable.

Put it this way to the blue collar couple - if you would not go to your neighbor’s house and demand their money at the point of a gun or a knife, you should not allow the government to do that for you. THAT is what socialism is.
At least, perhaps, they’ve learned to listen to us hoi polloi.

I have never understood why Republicans continually do this - they tell the press what they are going to do, before they do it. It gives their opponents time and opportunity to craft a response!

What a crock! Socialism isn’t about “sharing the wealth.” It is about controlling the wealth and “distributing” the wealth only to those who are willing to toe the party line.
